Eli is a recent graduate from the Music Scoring for Visual Media masters program at the Jacobs School of Music. He is the 2024 recipient of the prestigious Jon Vickers Scoring Award. As a part of this award, Eli is currently re-envisioning a contemporary scoring of the 1932 Erich von Stroheim film "Queen Kelly" starring Gloria Swanson. After the live-to-picture premier at the IU Cinema in October 2024, Eli will conduct a recording session of the score for the film's Blu-Ray and streaming release.
From the screen to the stage, Eli has worked with a myriad of different creatives across multiple mediums. In addition to his compositional credits, he has conducted on several different orchestral recording sessions, including Adriane McCray's "When Offered Wind" (produced by Film Independent) and the TV Pilot "Transylburbia." Throughout his career he has orchestrated and prepared sessions for many different projects such as Rod Lurie's 2023 film "The Senior." His multi-faceted musicianship makes him a versatile composer, thriving in environments where he can collaborate with other creatives.
